A Vision Takes Shape

Two years after the initial idea for a full-scale production of MK Knives & Tools’ flagship folding knife, the INGENI, the goal is now just around the corner.

Partnering with a Trusted Manufacturer

What began as a concept in 2023 led to talks with potential manufacturing partners and ultimately to a collaboration with FOX Knives—a renowned name in the knife world, known for their high standards and based in Italy’s famed knife-making hub, Maniago. Through a series of promising discussions, the main elements of the project came together, leading to the creation of three distinct INGENI variants with CPM-S90V blades and titanium bodies:

Ingeni “Urban Gray”,

Ingeni “Vanguard”,

Ingeni “Blackout”.

Crafting the Prototypes

In the first quarter of 2024, FOX Knives produced prototypes based on MK Knives & Tools’ original design. These were adapted for larger-scale production, with careful analysis and minor adjustments that laid the foundation for the production lineup. Later, these exclusive prototypes were custom-modified and made available to select MK Knives & Tools fans, becoming valuable pieces in their collections..

November: Final Production and Launch

November 2024 marks the final stages of production and the official launch of the INGENI, which will soon be available through dealers.
